     Saturday 17th March and the ‘Beast from the East’ struck with a vengeance. The road to the range was frozen over and only accessible by 4x4 vehicles, so a few intrepid shooters who were able to get to the clubhouse managed to find enough grit and sand to brave the bitter wind and falling snow to make the road clear for the other vehicles. The snow abated for a spell and so it was decided to go ahead with the comp, however after a few stoppages due to poor visibility a severe whiteout brought the session to a close and we packed everything away and sought the warmth and shelter of the clubhouse. The forecast is that the snow shouldn’t last and all will be clear for next weeks Underlever shoot.
